Making Under the Rainbow continued

The five central panels and the border were pieced together. The batting is Hobbs Heirloom Wool and the backing is hand dyed. The quilting was begun on May 11, 2007 and finished on June 12, 2007. Rayon thread was used on the front, and both Bottom Line and DMC Machine Embroidery thread were used in the bobbin. Here are some detail shots of the quilting

After finishing the quilting I added additional color with Prismacolor pencils.
